Who We Are
Kay Marie & Louise organization is the realization of a dream, that of perpetuating the life and work of two of the forgotten heroines of the Haitian land. In the gallery of these forgotten heroines is Agnès Jean, born in Corail, a rural section of the town of Port Margot, Cap Haitien. Marie’s house was a home where the homeless found a place of refuge, the hungry found food, and many always found a pleasant place to stay. Her life exemplified caring, selfless service, and love. Marie was blessed by the presence of another valuable woman, her closest friend, Louise Olivier nicknamed “tante Louise”. She was also from Port-Margot, the birthplace of their friendship and sisterhood. The two were inseparable. Mary and Louise loved each other, helped each other, and were always present in each other’s lives. The two women spent long hours conversing and sharing their experiences. Like Marie, Louise’s house was a place of refuge for the homeless and a hospital for the sick as Louise was also skilled in traditional medicine.
This summary presentation can not do justice to the life and work of these two wonderful women, worthy of being remembered among the forgotten heroines of Haitian history. May Kay Marie & Louise, this noble initiative, inspired by their lives, be the extension of their tremendous sense of service and sharing, for the glory of God.
Since 2021, Kay Marie & Louise has been helping the forgotten community, elderly youth, and children. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the support of our prayer partners and our faithful donors. We’ve built homes, fed thousands, delivered food and clothing, offered school training and trade programs, provided needed supplies, and provided assistance in medical, social, and funeral services.

We believe in providing a space where everyone feels worthy to live happily. Our goal is to reach down and bring up the forgotten, meeting their needs while also providing the tools needed to achieve a brighter future.
